Early Education is Everything

It is said (and hopefully known) the first three years of life is the most developmental stage of the human brain. A typical American child will hear between 1–3 million words and vocal patterns in this stage of their life (30 Million Word Gap, “The Early Catastrophe”). They learn gestures and facial expressions, too. Even though our cognitive processing isn’t fully developed, the brain will absorb nearly everything it is faced with. In turn, it retains only a fraction of it.

Simply put: the more exposure the better.
